Good: the room was clean, the breakfast was adequate, the morning staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the shuttle was on-time and easy (once I figured out how it worked; see below) Bad: I checked in around 6pm on 8/8 and the woman at the desk was rude, inept and I left in tears after trying to get checked in for 45 minutes. I walked into the hotel with my 4 year old son and there was no one else in the lobby including at the front desk. The woman working was in the back on her cell phone. I heard her say with a sigh "I have to go there's someone here". She came out and was barely civil. She checked us in and handed me a bill to sign. I looked it over and asked if this included the long-term parking. She rolled her eyes at me, turned around, grabbed some forms, shoved them at me and told me to fill them out. She then took two phone calls where she loudly exclaimed on both that she "couldn't help them because she was new, had only worked there for two weeks and was all alone at the front desk". I had questions about the forms and had to wait for her to help someone at the desk who was trying to arrange a shuttle. The worker was completely rude to that guest and seemed put out that the woman needed a shuttle as did the shuttle driver (who was just sitting around in an adjacent office). I attempted to get my questions answered but the woman seemed annoyed that I didn't know what I was doing. She also checked in another guest while I was waiting to get my questions answered. Here are some of the questions I needed answered, which seem basic to me: where is my room, how do I arrange a shuttle in the morning, where do I park my car and the last one, how do I get my car when I return from my trip, was answered by her with "just call the shuttle". Well, that put me over the edge and got me crying (I was already stressed traveling solo with my son for a cross-country move) and I told her I understood she was overwhelmed but at the same time she was doing a terrible job, picked up my son and turned to leave. The worker shouted at me that I'd been rude to her the entire time and she stormed out of the office saying she was leaving, slamming the door on her way. A person in line waiting to check in stopped me, handed me a business card for the shuttle and explained how it worked. I got in the car and started to drive to The Marriott but didn't want to chance them not being able to accommodate us on short notice. And, I paid $250 to stay at the hotel and park my car. We went to our hotel room where the A/C was on full blast and it was freezing in the room. The beds were hard as a rock. The pillows were lumpy and the size of couch cushions. The A/C made rattling noises all night and I had to cover up a bright green light on the A/C chord that lit up the entire room. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

First impression was true to what was to come After working all day and then driving for over two hours to get there I was greeted with indifference and borderline rudeness The room was dingy and had an odor of a cross between old body Odor and some kind of cheap room freshener to cover it up There may have been tinge of cigarette smoke but hard to tell Tried to open the window but was on the first floor and the traffic noise was worse The smell was bad enough it woke me up several times Upon my return I checked in with the front desk before picking up my car Different staff same indifferent somewhat rude attitude The driver for shuttle however was cheerful, polite and helpful But that's not enough to make up for a $200 a night dump Next time I'll pay a bit more and stay where I know will be decent!!!
