Airport Information

Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

Welcome to the Seattle Tacoma International Airport located in Sea-Tac, Washington! SEA is located at the intersections of State Routes 99, 509, and 518. SEA is the airport for the cities of Seattle and Tacoma and the rest of Western Washington. It is the primary hub for Alaska Airlines as well as a hub and international gateway to Asia and Europe through Delta Air Lines. In 2013, the airport served over 34.7 million passengers, making it the 15th busiest airport in the United States. The airport is the largest generator of vehicle trips in the state and its 13,000 car parking garage is the world's largest parking structure under one roof.

SEA has a Central Terminal building, which has four concourses (A-D) located inside. It also has to Satellite Terminals (North and South).

Passenger Services

SEA hosts music shows from various artists every day. If you get bored of staring at your iPad and waiting for your flight, you can listen to some awesome music and drink what Seattle is famous for—their coffee.

In addition to their music shows, SEA has a large variety of restaurants as well as some 24-hour restaurants. SEA also offers airport art, ATMs/cash machines, luggage trolleys, car rentals, children’s play areas, currency exchange, luggage storage, massages, meditation room, mobile chargers, movie and portable entertainment rentals, quiet zones, showers, and smoking areas.

Interstate 5 and its offshoot Interstate 405 intersect very close to the airport, and most people use private vehicles to arrive at the airport. Parking facilities are vast, and public transportation to the airport is somewhat limited due to its distance from downtown Seattle and downtown Tacoma.

Seattle's Central Link light-rail line serves the airport at the SeaTac/Airport Station, which opened on December 19, 2009. The airport is also served both by the King County Metro bus system and Sound Transit regional express buses. Taxis, rental cars and door-to-door shuttle service are available.

A 23-acre rental car facility is located at the northeastern portion of the airport at the intersection of South 160th Street and International Boulevard South. The facility has 5,400 parking spaces.

Hotels nearby Seattle Tocoma Airport are SeaTac Super 8, Comfort Inn and Suites SeaTac Airport, and Econo Lodge SeaTac North and all have 24-hour shuttles.
